Bob Ball

Bob started at the Coroner’s Office with Dr. Ryckman in January of 2005. Bob is a Mansfield native and is a graduate from Madison High School. After Madison, Bob attended Bowling Green State University and graduated with a Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice. Bob started out his career in the Ohio State Reformatory as a Corrections Officer. Following the Reformatory, Bob went to work at the Richland County Sherriff’s Department, the County Prosecutor’s Office and Richland Juvenile Court. Bob then moved on to the Bellville Police Department and then transitioning to the Butler Police Department, where he later become Chief of Police for the Village of Butler. Bob retired from the Butler Police Department in 2013, and has continued full time at the Coroner’s office.

Bob remains in the Mansfield area with his wife and cat, Marley. Bob has four children, seven grandchildren, and two grand dogs.
