Plan Pickup: ALL Plan / Permit pickups must be scheduled so we can have your plans ready and to ensure proper social distancing in our small lobby.  Please CALL our office to schedule a plan pickup – we will not schedule pickups via email. You will be contacted once your plan has been approved / a building permit has been issued.  You can schedule your Plan Pickup at that time, or you may call in at a later date to schedule your plan pickup. Contractors who may have more than one project, please supply us with a list of projects you will be picking up when you schedule your pickup time to ensure that we have all plans ready when you arrive.  Masks are required to be worn while inside the building.

Inspections:  Please call our office to schedule inspections.  Inspections are continuing as a combination of in-person inspections and remote inspections using video conferencing. We are currently working to do in-person inspections as much as possible, but may need to transition to more remote inspections depending on the situation.

In-person inspections:  Our Inspectors are required to wear a mask and to maintain a 6’ distance as much as possible.  If possible, please wear a mask during your inspection and try to maintain the 6’ separation.  Currently, we are asking that only one person accompany the Inspector on the inspection. Our Inspectors reserve the right to end an inspection / require a remote inspection if anyone at the location is exhibiting symptoms.

Remote inspections:  Google Meet is the preferred video conference platform.  You do not have to have a Google account to participate in a Google Meet video conference. The day of your scheduled inspection, your inspector will call to give you an estimated time for your remote inspection.  Someone with a smartphone or tablet capable of video conferencing and with internet access must be available at the site. The inspector will then call or text you around your estimated inspection time to initiate the video conferencing.  Please note that our Inspector’s phone numbers show up as Private or Restricted.
