Building Maintenance
Richland County Building and Grounds Maintenance department, governed by the Board of Commissioners, maintains 22 buildings under the Richland County Commissioners' direction.
Our department has a staff of six people. Buildings are serviced for HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning) equipment, electrical, plumbing, small carpentry projects, and office renovation including drywall and painting. Our department does numerous tasks to hold down cost for operation of buildings, and energy management for utility cost.
