The purpose of the Surplus Property Online Auction Services Program is to provide the ability for Richland County agencies to dispose of their County surplus items by use of an internet auction.

Posted items are sold and removed from the supported agencies areas within 10 business days. This program provides efficient, responsive, and fiscally sustainable Government Operations by disposing of surplus items via internet auction.  The County reduces the cost of storing surplus items and is able to generate income from those sales.
